Lincoln Tubbs

CEO

Lincoln Tubbs is an experienced Animal Health professional with a demonstrated history of leading innovation “firsts” in the pharmaceuticals industry, including licensure of the first DNA vaccine for Europe via centralized procedure. He has led teams through the early discovery, development, and tech transfer of innovative vaccines for aquaculture, building a pipeline of safe and effective biological solutions. Lincoln is uniquely skilled in international business operations, biologics product development, licensure and regulatory affairs, and global launches of aqua, poultry, swine & cattle products. He holds a PhD in Applied Pharmacokinetics & Pharmacodynamics from the University of Auckland. As the Chief Executive Officer of Redux Bio, Lincoln brings decades of experience bringing novel animal health products to market.

TONY DAY

VP R&D

Tony Day is a seasoned biotechnology executive, with over 30 years of experience and leadership roles in both R&D and Business Development. He was the 6th employee at Solazyme, joining in 2006 as Head of R&D, and later VP of Commercialization where he led many  of Solazyme’s seminal early partnership deals (JVs and JDAs). He has experience in scale up and regulatory approval of algal derived products, including novel food ingredients. Tony is a chemist and enzymologist by training and received his PhD from Imperial College London. He studied under Professor Sir Alan Fersht FRS for his postdoctoral at the University of Cambridge. Tony is also the recipient of the Presidential Green Chemistry Award in 2014.

After completing his thesis in bioengineering of enzymes for the production of specialty chemicals at the University of Oxford, Rich spend the early part of his career in investment banking in London funding early stage companies. He moved to California in 2009 to study his MBA at UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. Joining Solazyme in 2011, Rich established Solazyme’s business analytics department responsible for market analysis, strategy, and deal structuring for all of Solazyme’s business development activities. He was also the Product Line Director for Solazyme’s highly successful omega-3 product, AlgaPrime DHA. Rich has decades of experience in industrial biotechnology, and also runs a consulting firm focused on the scale up of biotech and foodtech startups.

Bert Soenen

Advisor

Bert Soenen holds 35+ years of experience in regulatory affairs of feed additives, vaccines, and veterinary pharmaceutical products. Previously the Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs at global multinationals, Bert brings an in-depth understanding of the registration of innovative products (including feed additives), GMP certifications, and the global regulatory landscape to the Redux Team. He studied at University of Ghent in Belgium for Animal Science.

Loc Tran has 15+ years in the animal health industry working with fish vaccine development, disease diagnostics, therapeutics development, aquaculture product testing, and new innovations in aquaculture. He is also an active professor of Aquaculture Pathology. Loc holds a PhD in shrimp pathology and aquaculture from University of Arizona.
